AAO Class Registration

Monotype/Monoprint Registration Form – Starts, Monday June 26 at 6 pm. This 2- night class series is an exploration of various printmaking methods used to make one-of-a-kind prints. Ages 16 and up. Limited to 8.Topics covered:

  • Creating & press-printing additive monotypes with water-based inks
  • Creating & press-printing reductive monotypes with oil based inks
  • Creating & hand-printing collagraph plates

The classes will be held at the AAO Civic Art Center, Oswego, NY on Monday, June 26 from 6 to 9:30 pm and Wednesday, June 28 from 6 to 9:30 pm. For more information email wdemott@twcny.rr.com


Raku Pottery Registration Form – Starts Tuesday, July 11 at 9 am.

Using hand building techniques and the potter’s wheel, students will create 2-3 original pieces to fire in the outdoor RAKU kiln. Students will learn to make a traditional RAKU tea bowl and a brief history of the RAKU tradition. Additional pieces will depend on the students’ personal vision. Both pottery and sculptural pieces are welcome.

The class will be held at the AAO Civic Art Center, Oswego, NY on Tuesdays- July 11, 18, 25 & Aug. 1 from 9 am to noon (outdoor firing day)
