CLASS: Generations in Clay

This 6-week class is for adults and children to collaborate together to make pottery. This class is geared toward beginners, but more advanced ceramicists can attend and work more independently.

  • Age and/or skill level: Children ages 3-18 accompanied by an adult partner.
  • Class size limit: 10 participants
  • When: Saturdays, April 14 – May 19, 10-noon
  • Where: AAO – Oswego Civic Arts Center, Fort Ontario Complex (north end of E 4th St), Oswego. (Google Maps Address: 20 Barbara Donahue Dr)
  • Cost: $25 per adult + $5 for each child (limit 3 children per adult).
  • Instructor: Rebecca Chatterton. Rebecca graduated from SUNY Fredonia in 2015 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a concentration in ceramics. She has also taught several art classes.
  • Registration and pre-payment are required.
  • This class is part of our ART for YOUth program, which is made possible with funds from the Decentralization Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature and administered by CNY Arts. Additional funding is provided by the Patrick Glover Memorial Fund.
