3 Ceramic Vessels (beginner forms) by Linda Shannon

Beginning students will be introduced to three hand building techniques and throwing on the wheel using low-fire clay. Illustration of slab rolling equipment, use of forms and molds, incising designs, and decoration with glazes and underglazes will all be presented. Students will have time to experiment with all techniques creating works for function or sculpture.

  • Age and/or skill level: Adults (ages 16+) with little or no ceramics experience.
  • Class size limit: 10
  • When: 6 Thursdays, March 22 – May 3, 6-9 PM
