Small Vessel on Potter's WheelThis class is an introduction to the Potter’s Wheel.  Students will learn various skills necessary to throw utilitarian wear on the wheel and create functional pieces.  Students will learn various techniques such as (but not limited to) wedging, centering, compression methods, lifting methods, slab handle methods, trimming techniques and final clean-up of the pieces created.  This is a 4-week class.

  • Age and/or skill level: beginner, ages 16+
  • Class size limit: 3
  • Date(s): Mondays, April 13 to May 4 (4 weeks)

  • Location: AAO – Fort Ontario Complex (north end of E 4th St), Oswego.

Intro to Potter’s Wheel
