The Art Association of Oswego announces the opening of two new shows at the Oswego Civic Arts
Center on Saturday, October 28. Abstract Realism – recent paintings by Cindy Lewis, and Remembering Patrick Glover will both open with a reception from 7 to 9 pm on Saturday, October 28.
Cindy Lewis won the Solo Show award at the 2016 Art Association Members’ Exhibition. She paints semi-abstract landscapes in a variety of media, and tries to capture the local beauty, color and mood, especially in unusual light conditions.
Patrick Glover, who passed away in July of this year at age 52, is well-known for his rainy windshield paintings, several of which will be on display in the lower gallery.
This event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served. The Art Association of Oswego is housed in the Oswego Civic Arts Center at the northernmost end of East 4th Street in Oswego, directly across from historic Fort Ontario.
