Students learn basic hand building techniques to create functional and sculptural works with Rebecca Chatterton.

This 6-week classes meets on Sunday afternoons, 1-3:00 PM, March 10 – April 14, 2019. 

  • Where: AAO – Oswego Civic Arts Center, Fort Ontario Complex (north end of E 4th St), Oswego.

  • Cost: $25. All tools and materials included in the price.
  • About the Instructor: Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (ceramics focus) from SUNY Fredonia, and has taught numerous classes to adults and children at the AAO.
  • Registration: Participants must register online using the form below. Class fees may be paid through the registration form using PayPal, or mail a check or money order to: AAO – PO Box 271 – Oswego, NY 13126. Payments mailed to our PO Box must be received at least 7 days before the class starts.

This class is part of our ART for YOUth program, which is made possible with funds from the Decentralization Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature and administered by CNY Arts. Additional funding is provided by the Patrick Glover Memorial Fund and other local donors.
