This exhibition includes work by Bonnie Bergan and Eric Sundberg, both solo show award winners from the Art Association’s 2017 Members’ Exhibition. The show will open with a reception on Saturday August 25 from 7 to 9 pm.This event is free and open to the public.

Bonnie Bergan was born in Syracuse. She has lived in Clay her entire life. She studied art at Morris Harvey College in West Virginia (now the University of Charleston) and at SUNY Oswego. Ms. Bergan taught High School Art for over 40 years. She is a signature member of the Central New York Watercolor Society. As a painter, she works in various mediums, watercolor being her most notable medium. She is also an accomplished muralist.

Eric Sundberg was born in Boise, Idaho.  He lived most of his life in Utah until he moved to Sterling, New York in 2015.  He has been throwing clay for Firefly Studio ever since. “I have always been a believer in the idea that the things we use every day, in this case cups and bowls, should in some way enhance your daily life. That is the premise from which I try to work whenever I sit down at my wheel. There is adventure in making shapes…”

This exhibition will continue until Sunday, September 16. The Art Association galleries are housed in the Oswego Civic Arts Center on Barbara Donahue Drive at the northern most end of East 4th Street in Oswego.
