Unfortunately, we’ve had to cancel this class due to low enrollment. We may be able to reschedule it later this year. 

Join your favorite young artist (ages 10-18) in this 3-day class to learn about stained-glass mosaic and collaborate together on a project. Participants will cut pieces of stained glass and attach them to a substrate and then finish with grout to complete a 6×6 inch project. Participants must wear eye protection: prescription eyeglasses suffice, or safety goggles. Instructor will have a few pairs of goggles available, but it’s better to bring your own. No open toed shoes.

This class meets on three days: Tuesday, May 14 and May 16th from 6-9 PM, and Saturday May 18 from 10 AM – Noon

  • Where: Laurie Kester’s Studio, located at 334 County Route 89 in Oswego.
  • Cost: $30 for each child + adult pair (or $25 each to make 2 projects). All tools and materials are supplied.
  • Instructor: Laurie Cardinali Kester has been a stained-glass artist working professionally in the Oswego area for over 25 years. She is also a retired certified teacher.
  • Participants must register online using the form below. Class fees may be paid through the registration form using PayPal, or mail a check or money order to: AAO – PO Box 271 – Oswego, NY 13126. Payments mailed to our PO Box must be received at least 7 days before the class starts.

This class is part of the ART for YOUth Program, which is made possible with funds from the Decentralization Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature and administered by CNY Arts.
