Watercolor Painting – Exploring and Organizing Colors

This class is designed for individuals that have done some watercolor painting but want to learn more about colors. Topics in this class will include using a color wheel, color relationships, and suggestions of overall color management.

Through demonstrations and individual and hands-on help you will create a color wheel using three primary colors of your choice. You will then create six small paintings using the following strategies, monochromatic, complementary, split complementary, analogous, triad, and tetrad. This will help you explore creative approaches of working with watercolors pigments and color wheel usage.
