Throwing on the Wheel for Youth – morning session (full)

ART for YOUth is pleased to offer a throwing on the wheel pottery class for tweens and teens. This six week class meets Saturday mornings from 9:00 -12:00 beginning September 22nd through October 27th. Rebecca Chatterton will instruct the introductory skills of wedging, centering, pulling, and shaping clay vessels on the wheel. Additional skills of trimming a foot, forming lips, pulling handles, and glazing will also be included.

Register right away as there is a six student maximum.

• Where: AAO – Oswego Civic Arts Center, Fort Ontario Complex (north end of E 4th St), Oswego. (Google Maps Address: 20 Barbara Donahue Dr)
• Cost: $25. (Low cost due to grant subsidizing from ART for YOUth)
• Ages: tweens and teens (ages 10-18)
• All tools and materials will be provided.

• Register using our online registration form and pre-payment are required. You may pay online using PayPal (see below) or mail a check or money order to: AAO – PO Box 271 – Oswego, NY 13126. Payments mailed to our PO Box must be received at least 7 days before the class starts.
